Ask any outdoors person where their hunting or fishing dream trip would take place and you are bound to hear Alaska as a top pick! This year we’re celebrating Alaska’s 50th year of statehood by putting together some incredible hunting and fishing trips in the great state. Over two times larger than Texas, Alaska is 570,374 square miles of sportsman’s paradise.
Our professional staff at Detail Company Adventures has the knowledge and experience to assist you on your Alaskan Dream Adventure. Our Alaskan big game specialist is Jim Riley. Alaska draws Jim back year after year. Some years as a guide, some as a hunter, and this year as guest co-host of the very popular television series on VS network called Dangerous Game. According to Jim, Alaska is still “The Last Frontier” and the world’s premier big game hunting destination. Other than Africa you would be hard pressed to find a destination that offers more types of adventures than Alaska.
Hunters will find several species of game such as brown bear, moose, elk, mountain goat, dall sheep, black bear, caribou, musk ox, wolf, and wolverine. Detail Company Adventures specializes in bear, moose, and caribou. We offer both guided and non-guided hunts. If you are looking for the ultimate adventure and have what it takes to survive in the Alaskan Bush, we will arrange a non-guided, fully outfitted hunt for you and your brave partners!
This fall Jim Riley and on of his special clients, Alex Wick from Iowa, braved the Alaskan Wilderness on a successful caribou hunt. Our outfitting partner in the region is a caribou hunting specialist! These hunts are so good in fact that this year 100% of the hunters took caribou! For the price of a good whitetail deer hunt you can have a week of solid Alaskan adventure. Young hunters looking for a challenge will appreciate this hunt as well. Bring your camera! Alex and I spotted many grizzly bears, moose, and Dall sheep right from camp! In fact one morning we awoke to find fresh bear tracks a mere 100 yards from camp. All you need for this hunt is a healthy body, a can-do attitude and your basic hunting gear. Tents, stoves, food, etc will all be provided by our outfitter.
Dall sheep, brown bear and mountain goat all require that non-residents hunt with a professional guide. Detail Company Adventures has invested a great deal of time and energy establishing relationships with some of the very best outfitters in the very best game units in Alaska.
