Accommodations
At our one-of-a-kind wildlife resort, guests can enjoy all of what Colorado’s natural environment offers without sacrificing comfort and luxury. Set among a quaint apple orchard and numerous fish-filled lakes and streams, our guesthouse offers six private bedrooms. Our grand lodge (opening fall of 2008) will have nine private bedrooms. Tastefully rustic hand-made furniture and original wildlife-inspired décor brings a touch of the outdoors indoors. All of our Colorado big game hunting packages include professional and personal guides. The hunting is done on our private and meticulously managed land, perfect for our thriving Colorado elk and Colorado mule deer populations.
Colorado Fishing Packages
With the world famous White River plus countless area lakes and streams teeming with Rainbows, Browns and native Cut Throats, this is an angler’s paradise. Both fly fishing and spin casting can be enjoyed here. Special instructional fishing lessons are also available.
Colorado Upland Bird Hunting Packages
Upland bird hunting in Colorado is as good as it gets. Imagine hunting for a mixed-bag of Ringneck Pheasant, Huns, Quail and Chukar in the dramatically beautiful high mesa country of Western Colorado. All of our upland hunts are guided aboard new Jeep Wranglers®. Both retrieving and flushing dogs are used to enhance your hunting experience. Our upland bird hunting can easily be combined with our exclusive big game and fishing packages.
Colorado Turkey Hunting
Excellent Merriam turkey hunting is available during both the spring and the fall. We can guarantee availability of your Colorado Turkey Hunting License before you arrive. Fall turkey hunting can be done with your choice of firearm. Both males and females can be harvested in the fall. Spring turkey hunting is done exclusively for bearded turkeys. Only shotgun and bow hunting is allowed in the spring .
