The Ultimate Argentina Goose / Duck / Perdiz Combo

The Bahia Blanca area in the southern part of the Buenos Aires province is home to the finest goose hunting in South America. Huge concentrations of Ashy Head geese arrive the fist week of May followed by the Magellan’s migration during mid May. The geese stay in the area until mid August.

Goose hunts take place only in the morning when the birds come into the corn, wheat and sunflower feeding fields. The excitement begins at dawn and the liberal limits are usually reached within a couple of hours.

In the afternoon guests typically have the option of spectacular duck hunting or challenging perdiz shooting. Again, the action is non-stop. Duck species include (but are not limited to) the Yellow-billed Pintail, Cinnamon Teal, Southern Wigeon, Black-bellied Whistling Duck, Rosey-billed Pochard, Brazilian, Red Shoveler, Black-headed, Ringed Teal, Fulvous, Speckled Teal and the Silver Teal. The perdiz are hunted behind well-trained Pointers and Brittanys and offer the perfect compliment to the waterfowl hunting.
