In the rolling hills of Southwestern Kentucky, there is a sportsman’s paradise of epic proportions. Outdoorsmen from all over the world come to this special place to enjoy spectacular flighted duck hunting, deer hunting, turkey hunting and upland bird hunting. We have thousands of acres of meticulously managed habitat at our disposal, including a private waterfowl refuge built and designed by wildlife biologists.
The uniqueness of our Kentucky hunting operation lies in the ability for sportsmen to hunt a mix of different species from one location. Here it is easy to combine great Kentucky upland hunting with duck hunting. Many of our guests choose to hunt birds in the morning, and then hunt deer in the afternoon. Even bass fishing can be added to the program.
Kentucky Deer Hunting
Our Kentucky deer are managed for size and genetics – year by year the quality of harvested animals improves. Expect to see plenty of quality Boone and Crockett class bucks. Our Kentucky deer hunting is done in two distinct areas.
The “Hills Region” is a bow hunting (only) area where guided hunts are taken out of our main lodge. Only eight deer hunters are accepted on this pristine 3,000-acre property. Hunters can expect to see deer in the 130 to 180 class P&Y.
Our “Bottoms Region” offers semi-guided Kentucky deer hunts. Here, deer hunters are typically responsible for their own food and lodging, but the trophy potential is the same as in the “Hills Region.” For outdoorsmen looking for the full Kentucky deer hunting experience, and prefer to camp during the hunt, this is the perfect (and less expensive) ticket. Rifle hunters in the “Bottoms Region” also have the option of staying in a nearby hotel or at our original farmhouse lodge for a nominal fee.
Kentucky Upland Hunting & Kentucky Duck Hunting
Our upland hunts are run out of our magnificent 10,000 square foot main lodge, which holds 16 hunters comfortably. For larger upland hunting groups, we can hold an additional 13 hunters at our original farmhouse lodge. Our Kentucky upland hunting experience includes a mix of no-limit quail, pheasant, chuckar and Hungarian partridge. With all of our upland hunts, guests can expect to be led by highly trained bird dogs and guides.
We also offer the finest flighted duck hunting programs in Kentucky. Expect to see more Mallards and a lot more action than with traditional duck hunts. One of our most popular itineraries includes high-volume Mallard shooting in the morning, and no-limit quail in the afternoon. But the combinations are almost limitless – we customize every hunting program to get guests exactly what they’re after.
Kentucky Cast & Blast (Spring Turkey Hunting & Trophy Bass Fishing)
Our Kentucky turkey hunting programs have become famous for good reason - we’ve got the harvesting records to prove it. Turkey hunting enthusiasts visit us every year to hunt the ever-elusive eastern wild turkey. Over the last two years, we’ve had a 97% success rate with turkey hunters. Our knowledgeable guides make sure every guest gets the most out of his Kentucky turkey hunting experience. When the turkey hunting ends, guests enjoy trophy bass fishing on our well-stocked ponds scattered around the property.
