LIMPOPO SAFARIS
Just as you would expect from any Detail Company Adventures outfitter, this South African outfitter emphasizes and achieves QUALITY in every aspect of his operation. Starting his operation in 2002, Hannes has expanded and grown his operation from 15,000 acres of hunting concessions to over 150,000 acres of private hunting concessions in the game rich Limpopo Province. His personal property has over a mile of Limpopo River frontage where horned species such as kudu, water buck, bushbuck and impala thrive and grow horns of record book proportions.
RIFLE HUNTING
You will have the opportunity to hunt over 15 species of animals within 30 minutes of the main lodge with this outfitter. Because Hannes has so much area to hunt, he can manage his trophies well, and all of his guests have the opportunity to take world class trophies that will make the SCI record book. Just to emphasize the efforts this outfitter makes at game management and exceptional trophies, here are some examples of what guests have taken here in the last five years: an impala that currently ranks number 2 with SCI and another that ranks 31st; 2 kudu that measured 60 inches; a Limpopo bushbuck over 18 inches; multiple waterbuck over 30 inches and the list goes on. The emphasis here is high quality trophies when you are hunting.
BOW HUNTING
Hannes also offers world class bow hunting on his concessions. Some concessions are dedicated strictly to bow hunting with well placed blinds where your shots should never be further than 20 to 25 yards so you can be more confident with your shot as you pursue your African dream trophies. Just to give you an idea of what kind of bow hunting operation this is, Ted Nugent of Spirit of the Wild TV Series and his entire family as well as Andy and Angie Ross of Ross Archery are repeat clients of this operation. WING SHOOTING
Although not quite as consistent as Argentina, there is some very exciting wing shooting to be had here. Doves, guinea fowl and francolin offer very consistent action with plenty of targets to test your shotgun skills. Some of the very best wing shooting in Africa is within a 2 hour drive of the main lodge and an overnight trip can be arranged for these hunts.
ACCOMMODATIONS and MEALS
Five star, first class, luxurious chalets greet you after a hard day’s hunt. The pictures will show you what an exceptional lodging situation Hannes provides his clients. While staying as a guest, an evening fire will greet you as you come in from your hunt. For lunch and dinner, you will enjoy wild game dishes, fine African wines and beverages, freshly made baked goods and deserts. Meals are served in our spacious dining area in the main lodge where you can tell great stories of your exciting days hunt in the bush. If you leave the table hungry, it’s your fault!
HUNTING SEASON
Although you can hunt throughout the year, optimum hunting occurs between April and October with June, July and August being the peak months. Clients have hunted in every month of the year here although it’s quite warm during December, January and February.

Discounted Rates are offered for Family safaris, and groups of 4 or more.
The Daily Rates include: Services of a licensed Professional Hunter, trackers, skinners, camp staff and 4x4 hunting vehicles, accommodation, meals, soft drinks, alcoholic beverages in moderation, daily laundry service, field preparation of any game taken and transportation of trophies to a shipping company. Also include is pickup and return of your hunting party at the Johannesburg Airport.
The Daily Rates exclude: Trophy fees for any game taken or wounded and lost. Dipping and packing of trophies and shipping to your final destination, hotel accommodation before or after the contracted safari period, air charters, tips to the PH, trackers, skinners or camp staff.
