For many sportsmen, South Dakota pheasant hunting represents the ultimate thrill.  At Detail Company Adventures we share that passion!  Seeking out the best of the best of pheasant hunting destinations, we ended up in the expansive farmlands of Clark County, South Dakota.  Pheasant purists at one time referred to Clark County as South Dakota’s best-kept secret.  After reviewing the area’s premier outfitter, we knew we’d have to share this unbelievable shooting experience with our privileged clients.  In addition to enjoying South Dakota pheasant hunting at its finest, guests have the option of adding ducks and geese to the mix, making this a must-visit destination for  upland hunting fanatics and waterfowlers alike.

Detail Company Adventures South Dakota Pheasant Hunting -

On all pheasant hunts guests are assisted by friendly professional guides, and have the pleasure of hunting behind expertly trained dogs. Providing a safe, personalized and memorable experience is our goal with every guest.  In the field we hunt in small groups to ensure everyone gets the most out of each outing.  With over 7.000 acres of private land the hunting environment is ever changing.  Expect to hunt in all types of cover – food plots, tree rows, cattail sloughs and CRP grasslands in search of the beautiful and elusive ringneck pheasant.  Rest assured there is always plenty of action and everyone has the opportunity to shoot their limits.  Guests also have special access to 960 acres of preserve land which means the fun continues long after the wild bird limits have been reached.

Detail Company Adventures’ South Dakota Waterfowl Hunting –

Clark County is also home to some of South Dakota’s finest waterfowl hunting.  Decoyed duck and geese hunting in the heart of the Central Flyway offers the perfect compliment to our South Dakota pheasant hunting program.  The hunting is done on ponds, lakesides, in sloughs and in crop fields.  Mallards, gadwell, widgeon and teal are most common, but the occasional canvasback and black duck can be found as well.  The snow and blue goose hunting is also excellent during the height of their migration.
