The Shooting

After five years of close-out time, the province of San Luis is finally open to shooters!

Spot winged Pigeons and Eared Doves can be shot several times a year and they thrive in such great numbers that the shooting can be nonstop! It’s not just pigeons and doves though:

There are 5 different species of Tinamou that make a great mixed bag hunt over the most well trained dogs from May – July.

The Outfitter

Outfitter Juan Pedro Navarro is an experienced shooter with a number of international awards and titles. He has a contract which allows him exclusive management of the entire shooting area. Navarro and his wife along with their highly qualified staff will tend to your every need. Their knowledge of the region, its culture and its land is the essential component in making every shooter’s stay an exercise in perfection.

Accommodations & Food

Villa De Merlo offers some of the finest in luxury vacation accommodations. Guests have their choice between Chumamaya and Tata Inti; both are equally outstanding new vacation concepts for the luxury traveler, sophisticated, comfortable and in harmony with the natural surroundings of the Cornechingones Mountain Range.

CHUMAMAYA: a brand-new, well groomed Country Club housing development that offers stunning mountain views from each of the homes. Guests stay in groups of two or three in the homes, each equipped with private bedrooms and baths and even a personal cook and butler to attend their every need. The main evening meal is served in a larger house for the entire group at the end of the shooting day.

TATA INTI: a beautiful complex with single bedrooms, each with patio and private Jacuzzi. The bedroom units look out over a lush garden with small pond and swimming pool. Groups gather together in communal lounging and dining areas where they are treated to outstanding service marked by a close personal touch.
