Peacock Bass Fishing in Bolivia ( July 15 – October 31 )
Peacock Bass fishing in Bolivia is quickly becoming a “must-do trip” for many international sportsmen. The northern state of El Beni is where you can find some of South America’s premier Peacock Bass fishing along with monster catfish, ferocious piranha and more. There are countless lakes, lagoons and rivers in this area with virtually no fishing pressure! 2-hour charter flights from Santa Cruz take our fishermen right into the heart of the jungle where the best Peacock Bass fishing is. This not only eliminates competition, but provides for a fishing trip and nature experience unlike any other. The action is non-stop – fishermen can expect to catch 40 - 50 fish per day! The Peacock Bass generally range from 2 to 10 lbs and always put up a heck of a fight.

Typical Fishing-Only Program –
5 Day / 4 Night – Includes 3 Days of Peacock Bass Fishing
Day 01: Arrive Santa Cruz, Bolivia on a morning flight from the US. Clear customs, then take the charter flight to our Selva Blue Lodge in the northern state of Beni. Check in to the lodge, have a great lunch, then enjoy a half day of fishing.
Day 02: Full day of Peacock Bass fishing. We go back to the lodge most of the time and eat a big lunch, swim, and then take a little siesta. Fishermen also have the options of night catfish fishing.
Day 03: Full day of Peacock Bass fishing – same schedule as Day 02.
Day 04: Morning of Peacock Bass fishing. Following a big lunch, take charter flight back to Santa Cruz. Stay overnight at Santa Cruz’s Hotel Yotau.
Day 05: Morning transfer to Santa Cruz, Bolivia International airport. Fly back to US.

Bolivia Peacock Bass Packing List:
Comfortable shorts and light pants, long and short-sleeved shirts, polarized sun glasses, sun screen, insect repellent, rain wear, camera and hat. Light tackle - weedless gold and silver spoons, lead head jigs in yellow, red and white, different colored shallow running or floating crank baits and top-water baits. Spinning or casting outfits 6 to 7 foot rods, 12 lb. test mono line with clack leader wire and black swivels.
NOTE:Please limit your luggage weight to 60lbs per person for charter flights.

Dove Hunting in Bolivia ( April 01 – October 31 )
Over the last few years, we have been dove hunting all over Bolivia in search of the country’s most productive fields. We’ve established camps and set up lodges in Bolivia’s best dove hunting areas. Recently, we acquired Bolivia’s flagship dove hunting lodge – appropriately called “The Rock.” This amazing dove hunting lodge sits high upon a huge rock mountain overlooking thousands of acres of sunflower fields. There are also countless acres of sorghum fields and numerous watering holes that make this area prime dove habitat! Drives from the lodge to the birds average 15 minutes, but sometimes the shooting is done within walking distance from “The Rock.” The lodge can hold up to 11 hunters at a time very comfortably. Features include a big-screen satellite TV, Jacuzzi, a pool table, an open bar and wireless Internet. Getting to the lodge is easy – you have your choice of a 2.5-hr drive or a 45-minute charter flight. With such short drives to the field, an endless supply of birds and an incredible lodge to boot, dove hunting in Bolivia just doesn’t get any better than this!

Pigeon Shooting in Bolivia ( April 01 – October 31 )
When people talk about the finest pigeon shooting in the world there is always mention of Bolivia – and for good reason. Bolivia’s vast agricultural regions offer the perfect balance of food, water and protective habitat for pigeons. As the sport of pigeon shooting has become more and more popular, we have been on the move scouting Bolivia for the best spots the country has to offer. We have several wonderful pigeon shooting lodges in Bolivia – we take our hunters to the areas that produce the best shooting at different times of the season. This ensures that our hunters will always be in the hottest spots every trip.
Typically we hunt one or two to a blind over decoys. Anyone who has ever experienced the thrill of decoyed pigeon shooting knows that the rush is tough t beat! Ask us about our newest and most exclusive pigeon shooting lodge “La Torkaza,” where you can combine high-volume dove hunting with Bolivia’s best pigeon shooting form April to July.
