Nestled in the sagebrush, sand hills and farmland of southwest Kansas is a hunter’s hidden jewel – where you can shoot wild Scaled (Blue) Quail, Bobwhite Quail, Ringneck Pheasants and the trophy Lesser Prairie Chicken. This unique area is also home to some of the country’s best spot-and-stalk Mule Deer and Whitetail hunting.
Though Kansas pheasant hunting has long been a popular draw, Kansas quail hunting is just as exhilarating. In the irrigated farmlands, hunters can find Bobwhites on one point then a big rooster the next. Furthermore, the sweeping sagebrush creates ideal habitat for the elusive Blue Quail – a bird that challenges the best dogs and often leaves hunters with nothing more than hot barrels and smoking hulls. Unique to our hunting area are the Kansas sand hills. The sand hills are one of the few remaining places in the world where you can shoot the hard flying Lesser Prairie Chicken. Expect steady dogs, great guides and good company on your quest for this feathered foursome.
Our comfortable country-style home is conveniently situated at the heart of a 15,000-acre ranch. Expect all the comforts and amenities of home. After an exciting day in the field, hunters unwind with a hearty meal and can kick back on relaxing recliners. Short drives to the field means you can be hunting within minutes from the house.
